September is a month of renewal, action, and environmental responsibility. At CalSan Enviro Solutions, we proudly hosted our September Spring Clean, aligning our efforts with global and national initiatives such as the Clean-Up & Recycle SA Week, World Clean-Up Day, and World Environmental Health Day. Together, these events highlight the urgent need for cleaner spaces, healthier communities, and sustainable living.

Clean-Up & Recycle SA Week
The Clean-Up & Recycle SA Week promotes better waste management and recycling across South Africa. At CalSan, we used this opportunity to raise awareness on separating recyclables, reducing landfill waste, and building sustainable habits.
As part of our Spring Clean, we hosted several community clean-ups and education drives. A key highlight was our collaboration at the Lichtenburg Mall, where we ran a packaging trailer initiative to engage shoppers and encourage responsible recycling practices.

World Clean-Up Day
On 21 September 2025, millions of people worldwide united for World Clean-Up Day, and CalSan was proud to be part of this global movement. This initiative was about more than just picking up litter, it was about reinforcing our shared responsibility to care for the environment and proving that collective action creates lasting change. As part of our campaign, CalSan distributed branded lunchboxes and water bottles to children, using them as tools to spread awareness and educate the next generation about the importance of recycling, sustainability, and healthy environmental habits.
World Environmental Health Day
On 26th of September, we observed World Environmental Health Day, a day that emphasizes the vital link between environmental health and human well-being.
Our Spring Clean provided the perfect platform to highlight this connection: cleaner communities mean reduced pollution, lower health risks, and improved quality of life. By reducing waste and promoting recycling, we directly contribute to safer and healthier spaces for everyone. To mark this important day, CalSan invested in fruit trees and shade trees, symbolizing our commitment to greener, healthier environments. Together with our team and community members, we took an oath to care for these trees, ensuring they grow strong and continue to provide both nourishment and cleaner air for years to come.
