A Successful Launch of the New Packa-Ching Mobile Recycling Unit in Lichtenburg

Last week, CalSan Enviro Solutions, in proud partnership with Polyco and generously sponsored by Sasol, unveiled the brand-new Packa-Ching mobile recycling unit in Lichtenburg, North West.

The official launch, held on the 4th of September 2025 at the Buy-Back Centre, was nothing short of inspiring. Waste pickers, community members, leaders, and stakeholders gathered in an atmosphere filled with excitement and hope as the vibrant green Packa-Ching unit rolled onto the scene, marking a powerful step towards a cleaner, greener future.

In South Africa, only about 10% of waste is recycled. The Packa-Ching mobile unit was created to change that narrative by making recycling accessible, rewarding and impactful.
